In an hour-long meeting I can provide you with answers to any homeschooling questions you may have including answers about the practical aspects such as complying with state and local laws and also about the every day questions many ask when they get started such as:
What do you do with younger children while you are homeschooling your older kids?

How do you organize the rest of your life around homeschooling?

How do you know what to teach and when to teach it?

Reading / Language Consult
This seems to be a primary concern among parents of children ages 5-9. Reading and Language development (which includes sentence structure, writing, spelling and phonics) varies by child. Many parents come to me with questions about how to incorporate these subject areas as painlessly as possible. It can (and should) be fun! I can show you how.
Diagnostic Testing & Consultation – $125
Total time: Testing 45 minutes – 1 hour. Follow-up consult: 1 hour.

Special Needs Students
I have extensive experience with learning delays, language disabilities, emotional disabilities and children who have been labeled with ADD or ADHD. Sometimes all it takes is a different approach to help your child progress and love learning at the same time. I can offer you alternatives and ideas.

Private Tutoring
I offer private tutoring on a part-time basis. I tutor all subjects in the Elementary grades (ages 5-12) and English/Writing/Grammar tutoring to students of middle and high school age.
